Changes to the Food Stamp Program!
As of October 1, 2008, there is no longer a limit on the out-of-pocket dependent care costs you can claim,
which can result in an increase in your food stamp benefits. That includes care for children under 18 and disabled adults.
Annual changes to the income eligibility limits and benefits have also changed.

On March 26, 2008, during a Capitol news release the Florida Partnership to End Childhood Hunger formally released its Ten-Point Plan that identifies more than $1 billion in federal food and nutrition funds Florida is not drawing down to feed children in need. It outlines a detailed plan for leveraging more of those dollars into the state.
The final draft for the Ten-Point Plan is now available.
